What's new in PawRoute 2
Everything below runs on the same salon data as Classic. Nothing is copied, nothing is migrated.
Kit lifespan tracking
Log a blade, clipper, shear, dryer or bottle with the hours you actually get from it. Finishing a groom wears whatever was used on that job, so Replace shows up before a coat gets burnt.
Coat condition scoring
Score the coat 1–10 when you book, then again when you get hands on the dog. If it turns up worse than booked, you get told before the clippers go on.
Card machine payments
One Collect payment button. Cash, your Square/Tyro/Zeller reader, a card by hand, or a Stripe link. Close-out keeps them apart so the drawer and the reader both reconcile.
Check in, don't assume
Nothing starts timing until you tap Add to the table. A live check-in clock counts the real minutes and turns clay the second it passes the booked time, so a late client never quietly eats the next job.
Gap engine
Keep a waitlist, then drop someone into a real opening — sized to their groom, inside your trading hours, with travel time either side. Same-suburb gaps offered first.
Smart route + fuel
Orders the run by booked time, tightens the driving between stops, and tells you the kilometres and what the fuel costs. Warns when a leg is too tight to make on time.
Drag-and-drop day book
Drag a job to a new slot. Tap one to open the full booking — client, pet, address, money, notes — and edit it there. Double-click an empty slot to QuickBook into it.
Pulse reporting
Money across the week, who runs over, coats needing attention, kit under load, and the replacement queue with what it'll cost.
Pet photos & profiles
Snap the pet on your phone. Coat, size, temperament, vaccines and watch-outs all show on the Floor mid-groom.
